Thrift Haul 7:

ironstone

  • Mini Ironstone Pitcher:

I love Ironstone and whenever I can find it at a good price I pick it up. This is a tiny pitcher but still amazing to hold clippings for the yard, pencils, or anything else in small doses. It was only 75¢.

  • Handmade Wood Drawer Piece:

I could not pass up this piece. Anything with small cubbies and/or drawers will always grab my attention. You can tell this one was homemade. It is heavy and well-made. I can always paint it to change the colors and either hang it on a wall or set it on something. It can be used for all kinds of things. It was only $4.

  • Wood Vase:

Wood vases like this will always come home with me if I find them at a good price. This one was at a church sale for $1! It is a great size and would look great with flowers inside or just sitting on a mantel or shelf on its own.

scoop

  • Vintage Green-Handled Scoop:

I love finding vintage, green-handled utensils, and scoops are one of my favorite things to pick up. I use scoops in all kinds of ways in our home. They are great for serving when you have company too. I snatched this one for 75¢ at a yard sale.

  • Beautiful Godinger Pitcher:

White pitchers are beautiful. They don’t have to be vintage or Ironstone to make a great statement wherever you put them. They are a staple decor piece that I love to grab and use all year round. This one was a yard sale find for $1.

cross stitch

  • Vintage Cross Stitch:

I scored this little number for 50¢ at a yard sale. Not only are the colors great and the theme perfect, but it is in an old frame and has the best patina showing its age. I love finding small art pieces like this because you can tuck them in unexpected places or add them to a gallery wall full of small art pieces to make a bigger statement.

box

  • Vintage Wood Bottle Crate:

I always pick these up but they have been expensive when I find them lately. Not this one. It was only $1! I use these for all kinds of things. When you find one with 24 compartments, they are great to turn into homemade Advent calendars around the holidays.

  • Vintage Brass Boot Vase:

This little number was too cute to leave behind. It is a little brass vase that is perfect to hold a few flowers on a desk or next to your kitchen sink. I grabbed it at a thrift store for $2.88.

book

  • Vintage DIY Encyclopedia Set:

I LOVE OLD BOOKS! When I came up to a yard sale, I saw this box of old books for FREE! When I got closer and saw what they were, I knew they were meant to come home with me. They are the complete set of DIY encyclopedias! WHAT?! I couldn’t believe it. Old books make for amazing decor.

bell

  • Brass Hotel Bell:

I have a thing for old bells and hotel bells are so great for decorating. This one was $2 at a yard sale. It is the perfect addition to any shelf, mantel, or vignette.

  • Vintage Small Framed Art:

I found this art at the same yard sale as the cross stitch. It was also 50¢. Again, the size sold me, and the fact that it was vintage and had great colors added to the charm.
