From vintage finds to modern treasures, you won’t believe the treasures I stumbled upon during my shopping trip. So, grab a cup of coffee and get ready to be inspired by the magic of thrifting!

Thrift Haul 5:

scale

  • Vintage Scale:

Vintage scales are one of my favorite things to find. I have never seen one like this. After it is cleaned up, it will be the perfect base for all kinds of things. You can add any kind of decor to the scale top and change it up for seasons and holidays.

bunnies

  • Group of Bunnies:

I always keep my eyes peeled for seasonal decor – no matter what the season is. This group of bunnies looked vintage to me. You can add these to all kinds of things in the spring. They would be perfect inside a cloche or just on a shelf to welcome the spring and Easter seasons.

wood

  • Vintage Wood Masher:

I am working on finding more of these because I love to make Christmas trees with them. Find that project HERE

old books

  • Vintage Books:

Vintage books are so fun. They add a lot of charm and character to any place you set them. You can stack them up and use them as a riser, you can add them to a shelf, or use the pages for different projects.

shakers

  • Milkglass S & P Shakers:

I am always on the hunt for vintage items. Items that make me think of the “old days”. I sometimes think I was meant to live back in the “old days” because I love vintage items and the way things were done in the past so much. These shakers are so sweet and you can use them as little vases as well. You can put tiny stems in the holes on top. If you have a collection of them they make a big statement.

brass

  • Vintage Brass:

Vintage brass is always a good thing to pick up. It looks good in any style of home. I find it a lot in thrift stores so I am getting pickier about what I bring home. I have never seen a dish like this so it came home with me. Perfect for change or keys at the end of the day on an entry table.

  • Old Brushes:

These are always fun to pick up. When you find them with great patina they make a great display hung in a collection.

  • Vintage Wood Accordion Racks:

I always pick these up when I find them. Even the ones that don’t have the pegs on them. They look so great hung on the wall or at the back of a shelf.

  • Vintage Thermos

I love these during the fall and Christmas seasons. They look great in a vignette but they are also great to use on a picnic or outdoor event if they are all still intact.

  • Vintage School Supplies

Vintage school supplies always have my heart. We have a few of these old sharpeners at our home. We use them! It is a piece of nostalgia that is functional.
