If you’ve been around here for any length of time, you know I have a hard time passing up vintage games. There’s just something about them! I love the graphics, the worn boxes, and all the little pieces that come with them. Vintage Bingo games have always been one of my favorites.
Recently, I came across a large tote filled with vintage Bingo game pieces. There were so many Bingo cards and wooden markers that I knew I’d never use them all just for decorating like I normally do. (Yes, I have been known to scatter a few vintage Bingo cards or markers around a vignette!)
As I was sorting through everything, a few simple project ideas popped into my head. Since I had such an abundance of pieces, I thought it would be fun to share them with you in case you’ve thrifted a vintage Bingo game yourself or happen to spot one while you’re out treasure hunting.
These vintage Bingo crafts are inexpensive, easy to make, and are a fun way to decorate for different seasons without spending a lot of money.
Vintage Bingo Crafts: 3 Easy DIY Seasonal Decorating Ideas
Vintage Christmas Garland
Supplies
- Red and white wooden Bingo markers
- Green flat ribbon (or any ribbon or thread)
- Hot glue gun
Tutorial
To make the garland, I alternated the red and white wooden Bingo markers along a length of green flat ribbon. I attached them with hot glue by sandwiching the ribbon between two wooden Bingo markers, creating a secure hold without the ribbon showing through. That’s all there is to it! It couldn’t be easier, and the finished garland has so much vintage charm.

Supplies
- Tall vintage Bingo cards
- Blue cardboard Bingo markers
- Red and white wooden Bingo markers
- Wooden dowel
- Hot glue gun
Tutorial
When I saw the blue cardboard Bingo markers mixed in with all the wooden ones, an American flag immediately came to mind.
I turned three of the taller Bingo cards on their side. I glued one on top of the other just to make them more sturdy to hold the wood markers and the dowel. Then, I glued the blue cardboard circles in the upper left corner, and then alternated the red and white wooden markers across the card to create the stripes. To finish it off, I hot-glued a wooden dowel to the side to make it look like a little flag.

Tutorial
This one may be my favorite simply because it’s so easy.
I took one of the vintage Bingo cards and hot-glued the red wooden markers into the shape of a heart. Once it dried, I placed it on a small photo easel and instantly had a sweet little piece of decor.
One of the reasons I love thrifting is that it constantly inspires new ideas. Sometimes all it takes is finding something in abundance, like this tote full of vintage Bingo pieces, to get those creative wheels turning.
