You know how one small change in a room can make everything feel fresh again? That’s exactly how I feel about decorating a mantel for a new season. It’s such a focal point and switching it up is one of the easiest ways to make your home feel ready for spring. I pulled together some of my favorite spring mantel decor ideas that are simple, budget-friendly, and totally doable with things you probably already have.
When I decorate for spring, I’m not running out to buy all new decor. I’m shopping my house, grabbing thrifted pieces I’ve collected, layering in some texture, and maybe adding something natural or a little lighter in color. That’s it. It doesn’t have to be complicated to feel beautiful.
I’m sharing a bunch of different looks below so you can grab ideas that fit your style and make them your own.

I love the simple look of this European design. It looks upscale without being “stuffy”. You could definitely recreate this on a budget and with some thrifted finds.
This spring mantel has a romantic, farmhouse vibe. I think the colors really make the spring feeling pop!
This is a very simple look and touches to add spring to your home.
When I saw this mantel, I loved that you can literally find everything here at a thrift store. It will take some time but it gives you a great example of what to look for when you are hunting for items for your spring mantel!
All you need for this look are some faux stems and a few small pots!!
I love all of the colors against all of the white in this spring mantel.
This spring mantel stuck out to me because it was different from the rest and I can get some great ideas from this look to add to my own mantel.
I know this isn’t a mantel, but it’s full of ideas for adding spring touches. You can find inspiration anywhere, and the shelves in this hutch could easily be adapted to create a beautiful mantel display.
I hope these spring mantel decor ideas spark something for you and make you excited to play around with your own mantel. Sometimes it’s just about moving things around, adding a branch from the yard, or pulling out something you forgot you had.
Spring decorating doesn’t have to mean buying more; it can just mean looking at what you already love in a new way.
