Halloween is here! It’s a great excuse to dress up any way you like, eat your favorite candy and celebrate with family and friends. Since our kids were little, we have always had my family over for dinner before we all ventured out to go trick-or-treating. We had our same “candy-gathering” route and some of our favorite houses to visit were the ones where the adults would camp out in the driveway with a fire pit.
There would be multiple families in their driveway and they would eat and have Halloween drinks while they handed out candy. They would always ask all the adults if we wanted to join them in their little party. Our group has always said that we need to do that one day when our kids are too old to go trick-or-treating. It is like a mini party in the driveway! So fun.

Even though we still have kids trick-or-treating this year, I thought it would be fun to come up with some Halloween drinks for this season and since I had so many science beakers from the dollar spot at Target a few years ago, I wanted to bring them out and serve fun drinks in them this year.
You could make these Halloween drinks in a large punch bowl, you can mix them one at a time or just set up a station so everyone can mix their own drinks as they like.
Ingredients For This Vampire Punch:
1 to 2 oz. lime vodka
3 oz. blueberry pomegranate juice (you could use cranberry juice, or any red juice you like)
3 oz. pineapple juice
Splash of grenadine syrup
This list of ingredients can really be changed to whatever you like. If you like rum, use that. Do you like tequila? Try that. If you don’t like pineapple juice, use orange juice. It is like a real science experiment so having the science beakers is a must to serve it all in. You could put different alcohols and juices in the different beakers and then guests can mix and match whatever they like!
If you are serving in a punch bowl, obviously, the amount of everything increases. If you want to mix them one at a time, use a cocktail shaker to mix them. Have a lot of ice on hand and have fun mixing your different vampire concoctions!
