Hi! I’m Tina, and my business is The Lavender Crate. I have painted furniture for 6 years now, grabbing an old piece here and there and giving it a new purpose. I love the transformation – dreaming about what it can be then bringing that vision to life. There is so much potential in so many pieces! When the client or customer purchase it, seeing that they love the piece and want it in their home is so rewarding. I give each project a lot of attention and prep to make sure the end result is something that will last. I actually have a hard time seeing it leave the shop.
I spent most of my adult life homeschooling my four kids. Much of our time was focused on creating something new during those school days. It’s obvious God designed me with that love of creating. I want to use it for Him in whatever capacity I can.
When I’m not painting furniture, I love to kayak with my hubby, ride mopeds, and spend time with our grown kids and now grandkids. I’m thankful for all that God has allowed me to do and very thankful for this creative group.
