It was February of 2021 during the pandemic and I was craving new bedroom furniture. My bedroom furniture felt dated and I was ready for a change, but I didn’t want to spend $10,000 to get new furniture. OUCH!
So, I started researching how to properly paint furniture and found this entire world of supplies, products and information.
I dove right in, bought the supplies and began the process of painting my current furniture. That was when my passion was born. I fell in love with painting furniture. The transformation was amazing and I realized I had an eye for it.
That’s when I started looking for pieces on Facebook Marketplace to paint and flip. I found the cutest pair of nightstands for only $50 and quickly sold them after painting them. I was hooked.
From there I developed my craft and learned many new skills and ways of improving. I found better paints, supplies and started my journey that leads me to today. I paint furniture to sell as well as paint my client’s furniture for them. I also found that I love to help and teach others to do the same as I did back in 2021.
In addition to my painting passion, I am a mom of 3 teens and happily married to my soulmate living in sunny North Carolina.
I love traveling, decorating, organizing and designing. When I am not painting I love to cook up some delicious recipes from Half Baked Harvest, crafting charcuterie boards, drinking artisan cocktails with friends, binge watching murder mysteries and spending time with my family.
