Spring Home Tour

March 25, 2016 27 Comments

Spring has definitely sprung at our house. We have had 60° days and then had a little “blip” at the end of last week with some 40° weather and talks of snow. In Iowa, that’s what you always have and it never deters me from doing some easy spring decorating around the house. This post is part of a Spring Home Blog Tour. Make sure to check out all the beautiful homes and decor at the end of this post.

I don’t go all out for spring home decorating. But, it is fun to bring out different things for each season.

I loved these green bunnies from Pier One. I was lucky enough to score them on clearance after Easter a few years ago. They are perfect just plopped in an antique pitcher from my great, great uncle’s house. He used to serve grape juice from this pitcher when he was little.

Tablescapes are always fun for me and earlier this week, I shared my Easter table for this year.

This bunny is still one of my favorite yard sale finds. I got him about 5 years ago and I always get excited to set him out.

Look at what he is carrying on his back!!!!

My Buck and Doe got a little spring home makeover.

These little chicks were a thrift store find this year. They are too sweet and perfect on this green scale.

The old door turned chalkboard behind my desk is always fun to decorate every season. I added some vintage Easter cards to the old wheel with some bunny clip I got in the Target Dollar Spot.

I shared all about how this little bunny in the basket came together for under $2 in my Architectural Hanging Map project.

We added a wall of cabinets in our dining area. This is another favorite spot to put together for each holiday. The sign and carrot garland were clearance finds from TJ Maxx last year. The cloth bunny was a church sale find.
